RCGC Club Administrator Hours: Due to the nature of the position, the person in this position must be flexible. This position is salaried and all duties other than direct coaching will be paid by the monthly salary. This position will also be responsible to coach classes on the recreational and competitive team side.
​
Job Purpose: RCGC Director is responsible for the daily operational functions of the Gymnastics and Cheer Center. Additionally, plans for and implements year-round gymnastics (recreational and competitive), boys classes, drop in programs, and special events.
Description
Essential Functions: Plan, develop, implement, evaluate, and analyze programs, facilities and services associated with the RCGC program portfolio, including but not limited to: gymnastics classes, challenge class, tumbling classes, special events, birthday parties, competitive team, and gym rentals. Position will work closely with the board of directors and financial manager.

Provide supervision, leadership and guidance to part-time coaches in the performance of their duties and responsibilities.

Develop a training program to effectively train all new employees and existing employees. Ensure all training is complete prior to the employee coaching independently.

Assist with the recruitment, screening, hiring and training of all RCGC personnel.

Board member or coach to be present at all interviews

Instruct/coach team (up to all USAG levels 3-10, Xcel Bronze - Xcel Diamond) in addition to coaching recreational level classes.

Prepare and deliver class lesson plans within gymnastics programs

Maintain an event schedule for all classes, coordinate with competitive team coaches

Evaluate, document , and communicate participant skill attainment and progress as well as oversee all RCGC staff

Enforce program facility rules and regulations and comply with safety standards

Responsible for organizing general maintenance/cleanliness of all RCGC areas.

Work effectively with internal and external customers, recognize diverse opinions and needs, and maintain a positive working relationship with all employees.

Oversee the planning for, set-up and running of all special events, including home meets.

USAG certifications including meet director

Research new program ideas, recommend and implement improvements for existing programs.

Develop and direct in-service training programs for ongoing education and skill development of staff.

Seek out customer input and investigate and act upon requests, suggestions, and complaints concerning programs and services.

Collaborates with the RCGC Financial Manager

Assist Financial Manager with annual budget preparation and system input. Follow established purchasing procedures.

Prepare and monitor registration information through the current registration software system and process transfers, refunds and send program information communication.

Ensuring effective communication for all members of the competitive team

Development of a summer schedule with board approval with financial limitations considered

Scheduling all meets for the competitive team with team coach input

Parent communication

Prompt delivery of the schedule to parents when released

Scheduling appropriate staffing for all meets

Coordination of all hotel reservations
-

Respond to all emails, text messages, and phone call inquiries preferably within 24 hours but 48 hours maximum
-
Schedule and coordinate make up practices including but not limited to the cancellation due to weather, high school gymnastics meets, competitive team gymnastics meets, and cancelation of classes due to insufficient staffing availability.

Manage, inventory and order program equipment and supplies.

Foster partnerships with community public/private sector organizations in support of the RCGC mission statement and act as the liaison with different community groups as assigned.

Additional Functions: Coordinates with the RCGC Board and the Communications and Marketing Department in the creation of promotional materials including flyers and apparel.

Assist with the coordination and oversight of the inclusion participants with disabilities.

Spot program participants as they use gymnastics equipment as needed.

Conducts regular safety inspections of gymnastics equipment. Develop a program for incidents and accidents. Prepare incident and accident reports and follow up reports.

Fully stocking all first aid supplies, develop a training program for coaches on first aid and CPR
-
Maintain a complete understanding of RCGC emergency action plans and act as a leader in the execution of the plans when required.

Knowledge, Skill and Work Experience: Preferred but not required: Experience coaching levels 3-10 USAG competitive team & Xcel Bronze - Xcel Diamond competitive team. Experience coaching recreational gymnastics for age groups offered.

Experience in supervising staff.

Ability to multi-task workload

Ability to communicate effectively with coaches and parents of athletes

Certification in CPR AED and First Aid or able to obtain within 3 months of employment

Customer service focused Programming experience in a recreational setting Knowledge of safety and risk management

USAG Professional Member USAG Safety Certified Recommended: preschool, girls and boys recreational/team and sports science through USAG University.

Physical Considerations: Frequent- standing, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, running and walking. Occasional- sitting and typing. Strength- requires spotting athletes, lifting materials or equipment.

Other requirements include talking, hearing, and seeing to perform the following necessary duties: Teaching programs and supervising students, operating office equipment

Environmental Considerations: Normal gym conditions for the majority of work, may include occasional light and temperature variations. Exposure to noise, dust, gymnastics chalk and elevation. May include prolonged hours of computer use. May be exposed to occasional inclement weather, as the position may require outdoor work.
